Origin
Rosa x damascena var. semperflorens (syn. R. x bifera).Offspring of the crimson coloured rose “Eugene Furst” discovered in France by Reverchon in 1897.
Dense full flowers shine bright crimsom each opens like an oyster.Emerging with a wavy white rimmed petals in graceful disarray.
One of the early multi bloomimg varieties strongly influenced by Bourbon roses.It was extremely popular thanks to its red flowers and intense fragrance in the days of its discovery and has lost none of its charm today.
A decorative bushy shrub for every garden certain to bloom several times if the location is soil rich in nutrients.Grows vigorous 4ft (1.2m) tall and 3ft (90cm) wide.
